Human trafficking is a global problem that is also right on our doorstep. The UK Law Enforcement Agency estimates that 70% of the 88,000 women involved in prostitution in England and Wales are under the control of traffickers. The average age of a victim of human trafficking is 14.
Hope for Justice is a human rights organisation dedicated to fighting human trafficking in all its forms. We work alongside the police, government agencies and other organisations that are fighting this terrible trade. Our aim is to:
- investigate and bring about the rescue of victims from the abuse of human trafficking
- assist in the protection and rehabilitation of victims
- ensure perpetrators are held accountable for their crimes through criminal prosecution
- campaign at a local, national and international level to highlight this issue and to ensure that there is effective legislation to combat the problem and protect the rights of the victim.
Hope for Justice passionately believe in freedom for all. As Urban Angels we are partnering with Hope For Justice to fight and to overcome the evils of the world. We are empowered by our God to make a difference, to bring about change and to actively free those trapped in violence, giving them hope and justice
