As an Urban Angel we want you to impact your own community and then beyond. I believe we have to start at home, reaching people. It’s so easy to do so as an Urban Angel – how well do you know your neighbours, your local community, who are you influencing and helping right where you live?
Urban Angels is all about making the most of the place and locality that you are based in. There is a growing trend to close the door, keep yourself to yourself and to isolate those around us. But we are called to do the very opposite. We are the ones who should be including, inviting, opening up our lives and sharing our journey and our stories. The Message Bible says:
’….. I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way. I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!’

Don’t live your life too small!
Get involved in being an answer to someone else’s life. If you feel you could do with some more fun, adventure and purpose, then this is exactly for you.
So where do you live? Who are your neighbours? This challenge as an Urban Angel is all about who are you gathering, loving, including. Every human being is looking for acceptance and to be loved, that’s why we are here to bridge that gap with God’s love.
Each month, we will update you with a new, fun challenge to mobilize an army of women to be an angel, a messenger of heaven’s hope to their urban location. We will suggest a fun challenge for you girls to take part in and then as many as possible to go for it and let us know how you get on. If we can help just one more person each then that adds up to thousands of girls gathered and loved.
